Justin Eggen spent spent 12 months in combat across two deployments to Afghanistan- first to Marjah, then to Sangin Valley, one of the most dangerous areas of the entire war, hunting IEDs alongside his platoon. He came home and turned that experience into ten books and a national speaking career- appearing at venues from the National Museum of the U.S. Marine Corps to college campuses across the country.
