Virtual Writing Workshops

Join Pressure Plate Publishing House in our Virtual Writing Workshops!

These are designed to enhance your writing skills. These workshops provide a platform for writers of all levels to come together and explore various aspects of the writing craft.

Participants can expect engaging discussions, constructive feedback, and creative exercises, all aimed at fostering growth and improvement in their writing. Whether you're a novice looking to start your writing journey or an experienced writer seeking to refine your skills, these workshops offer a supportive and enriching environment to help you reach your literary goals.

Each course being three weeks in length, one-hour per week (extra time for follow-on comments, questions, concerns, etc.), concluding with 3+ cumulative hours of exploring, learning, understanding, and applicating poetry. Each student will complete the course with a mailed certificate of completion, sticker pack, and a heightened understanding and awareness of how to utilize poetry in relation to self-help, mental health, and understanding oneself after war or trauma.

Concept:

The idea and concept behind PPPH’s “Virtual Writing Workshops” is to initiate a desire in the veteran community to begin exploring one’s trauma through the art of poetry and literature, in a complimentary environment that allows veterans to feel comfortable exploring their vulnerabilities.
