Dear Pressure Plate Family,
It's February, and I hope the beginning of 2024 has been kind to you all. There has been a lot going on politically, as it is an election year, and that's generally how they go.
A lot is going on geopolitically as well, as there is war in Ukraine and in Israel, with an ever-possible Taiwanese and Chinese skirmish on the horizon.
We can only really focus on the things directly in front of us. With that focus, we should become more aware of the politics and geopolitics unfolding and the general philosophy of seeking knowledge daily to feed our appetite for personal growth forever. I want to support that as much as possible, so I've committed myself to exploring this through our YouTube page. Our focus will be POETRY (writing/ haikus/ exploring poetry/ what is war poetry/ etc.), POLITICS (society, domestic and geopolitical issues, etc.), PHILOSOPHY (branches of philosophy, embodiment and practical application of philosophy, etc.), HISTORY (culture, warfare, political history, etc.)
Our hope here at PPPH is that these videos will be used for educational purposes, to spark interest, or to begin an exploration of something foreign to you; as long as you want to gain knowledge, we will provide an opportunity to facilitate that. As February starts, we are also bringing in new products and launching the 2nd Edition of "Outside The Wire: a U.S. Marine's Collection of Combat Poems & Short Stories Volume 2" (OTW2) in the middle of the month.
